GGU has long had a commitment to charitable and humanitarian causes.

In the summer for the past 35 years we have held charity lunches in aid of a variety of causes, including Oxfam, animal welfare, Overseas Women's Aid, and the Family Holiday Association. We also have a Christmas Charities fair at which a large number of charities are represented.
