Sunday Meetings for Spiritual Reflection:

We meet together for a religious/spiritual service together every Sunday at 11am.

The services are non-creedal. They feature meditations, singing together, readings and the sharing of spiritual and religious insights and inspiration from diverse spiritual and cultural sources.

Sunday service at GGU.

Please join us and be part of our fellowship of spiritual explorers. Afterwards there is an informal social gathering over tea, coffee and biscuits.

10 June The ethics of Assisted Dying

Our monthly series on The Wisdom of World Faiths will continue on the first Sunday of each month through the summer with services on The Wisdom of Christianity on 1st July, led by Rev Jim Corrigall, and The Wisdom of Hinduism on 5 August.

Other services in the series including ones on Sikh wisdom, on Unitarian wisdom and on the wisdom of Modern Masters of India are planned to follow in the autumn.

The topic of the special service on 10th June, The Ethics of Assisted Dying (a.k.a. "assisted suicide" or "voluntary euthanasia") will be further considered at our Spirituality Discussion Group on Wed 13th June (7.30 to 9pm). Unitarians at their national meetings in April considered the ethics of assisted dying and decided the matter was too complex to quickly reach a position on.
